PRINKS AS A DINNER PARTY

How does your typical meal look like before going out? We think it’s an important decision to make! Let’s start with dinner…

Dinner

As most people already know, carbs are the best base and we agree with this. There is a variety of meals that have proven to be great. Pizza is always a good choice, we think. You can personalize it and share with your friends on pre-drink nights. Because it’s a heavy meal it will fill you up nicely. Same counts for pasta. Our other recommendations next to these two are: fries, kebab, döner, hot dogs or anything consisting of much dough and fat. Just don’t eat salad basically:D.

Midnight snacks

This doesn’t necessarily count as a meal on its own, it depends on what you make out of it. Here some meal choices of the dinner are applicable as well, like fries, pizza, kebab or döner. However, it can also be a little less heavy than that. We suggest potato chips, chicken nuggets, pretzels or crackers. Follow your heart on this one, you can’t do much wrong with the snack if you followed us on the dinner advise. This is meant as additional food to relieve you of your cravings and less for actually providing a drinking base.

Hangover breakfast

Sooo what’s the best way to recover as quickly as possible if you experience a hangover despite taking our tasty dinner and midnight snack advices into account? Most of you will answer this question with “sleeping” and “just waiting until it goes away naturally”. But what if I tell you that you can even speed up your recovery time and feel as refreshed and energetic as you were before joining the party with a tasty hangover breakfast? Try for example pancakes or breakfast muffins to help your body wake up. Your body and mind will thank you for the quick sugar fill up with a positive mood. If you aren’t a sweet tooth we can suggest a (full) english breakfast, scrambled eggs or French toast.

Recipe for French toast:

  • 6 thick slices bread
  • 2 eggs
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • salt to taste

Beat together egg, milk, salt, desired spices and vanilla. Heat a lightly oiled griddle or skillet over medium-high heat. Dunk each slice of bread in egg mixture, soaking both sides. Place in pan, and cook on both sides until golden. Serve hot, but not too hot. Do not burn yourself!

Recipe for pizza:

  • buy premade dough
  • tomato sauce
  • variety of toppings: mozzarella, tomatoes, pepperoni, mushrooms, corn, eggs
  • parmesan cheese

Roll out the dough and spread the tomato sauce on it. Place the chosen toppings on the pizza and cover them with parmesan cheese. Bake the pizza as instructed on the package.
